According to information from Yinzhou Customs on December 15, from January to November this year, the total import and export value between our district and ASEAN reached 34.64 billion yuan, marking an 11.2% year-on-year increase. Behind this outstanding performance are the continued policy benefits from the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement and the vivid reflection of "Yinzhou Manufacturing" keenly capturing market opportunities and actively integrating into the international cycle.

That day, reporters visited the production workshop of Zhejiang Zhongzhe New Energy Co., Ltd., where the constant hum of machines filled the air, and high-speed assembly lines were in full operation. Workers were intently conducting final inspections on a batch of energy storage batteries destined for Vietnam. In one corner of the workshop, neatly stacked battery modules, packed and labeled in foreign languages, awaited shipment.

"Orders this year have been booming, especially with surging demand for energy storage products from Vietnam, Thailand, and Myanmar," introduced Chen Bin, General Manager of Zhongzhe New Energy. Data confirms this enthusiasm: from January to November, the company's sales increased by 50-60% compared to the same period last year, and the China-ASEAN Certificates of Origin applied for their export products numbered about 80, also representing a significant 50% year-on-year growth. "This certificate is like a 'preferential pass' for our products entering the ASEAN market, saving our clients considerable tariff costs and enhancing product competitiveness."

Similarly bustling scenes were witnessed in the precision machining workshop of Ningbo Laimeng Robot Co., Ltd. Technicians focused intently on adjusting parameters before precision equipment, conducting final preparations for a batch of semiconductor wafer inspection instruments set for Malaysia.

The company's Overseas Sales Manager, Chen Yuji, held a sample inspection device to show reporters: "Despite its small size, its repeat positioning accuracy can reach the 300-nanometer level, giving it strong competitiveness in the ASEAN market." He stated that from January to November, the company's export value to ASEAN maintained an annual growth rate of around 20%. This growth stems partly from ASEAN countries actively promoting Industry 4.0 upgrades, creating robust demand for high-precision, high-quality automation equipment. Meanwhile, the continuous upgrading of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement has also provided a more favorable trade environment for product exports.

While enterprises are operating at full capacity, policy support and government services are simultaneously accelerating from the backend. At Yinzhou Customs, officers are methodically processing various documents and conducting cargo inspections. Sun Xianglei, Deputy Section Chief of the First Inspection Section of Yinzhou Customs under Ningbo Customs, stated: "By offering round-the-clock appointment-based customs clearance services, we achieve 'inspection upon appointment' for goods. We also continuously monitor international standard developments and importing countries' technical requirements, helping enterprises enhance their capability for compliant exports." The "one-on-one" targeted assistance and full-process guidance implemented by Customs have created an efficient and convenient "green channel" for enterprises.

It is reported that on October 28 this year, the upgraded protocol for version 3.0 of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was officially signed. The focus of bilateral cooperation deepened towards rule-making in emerging areas such as the digital economy, green economy, and supply chain connectivity. For Yinzhou, with its solid industrial foundation and active export-oriented economy, this signifies a new round of market opportunities and transformation momentum. Sun Xianglei indicated that the new protocol will vigorously promote standards alignment and rules interoperability, helping Yinzhou enterprises integrate more deeply into regional industrial chain divisions of labor, particularly seizing development opportunities in high-value-added fields like green energy, high-end equipment, and the digital economy.
