Ningbo Global Elite A9 Alumni Center Established in Yinzhou
Recently, at the "Sino-European Intelligence Hub: Talent Cultivation, Technological Innovation and ESG Sustainable Development" conference held in Yinzhou, the Ningbo Global Elite A9 Alumni Center was officially inaugurated. This marks a significant breakthrough for Ningbo City and Yinzhou District in pooling global overseas Chinese innovation resources and advancing international talent development.
The center brings together alumni resources from nine world-renowned universities—including MIT, Oxford, and Cambridge—operating in Ningbo. Six entities serve as advisory units: Ningbo (China) Supply Chain Innovation College, Ningbo Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Europe Ningbo General Chamber of Commerce, Global Ph.D. Association, UK China Chamber of Commerce, and Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Science Park. Facilitated by the Yinzhou Overseas Chinese Federation, the center leverages Ningbo’s strengths as an "academician hometown" and its overseas Chinese network to create a global elite alumni aggregation platform. It aims to contribute to Ningbo’s vision of becoming a global hub for intelligent manufacturing innovation and a high-level open city.
Notably, three projects were signed on-site to settle in the Ningbo Zhejiang University Alumni Science Park located in Xiaying Subdistrict. Among them, the AIFC France-China Incubator Alliance project will introduce advanced European enterprise incubation models and management expertise, particularly ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance)-aligned cultivation frameworks. The "Hollywood Method" AI video project, renowned for its innovative technology and creativity, injects fresh vitality into Ningbo’s tech talent development.
During the subsequent roundtable dialogue, academic and industry representatives explored strategies for implementing ESG principles in local education and corporate practices. Project roadshows featured multiple high-quality initiatives focused on technological innovation and sustainable development, showcasing their innovative outcomes and industrialization potential.
