On March 31, the 2025 Ningbo Yinzhou Embodied AI Industry Innovation Conference, along with the Industry Exchange and Shanghai-Ningbo Industrial-Financial Acceleration Program, took place in Shanghai. The event brought together over 150 industry experts, investment representatives, and innovative project leaders, fostering in-depth collaboration between the two cities through keynote speeches, project pitches, and capital matchmaking.

Recently, the 2025 Government Work Report highlighted the cultivation of future industries like embodied AI and the development of intelligent robotics, marking humanoid robotics as a national strategic priority.

Against this policy backdrop, Yinzhou is strengthening its AI industrial foundation by optimizing computing resources and advancing core algorithm technologies. The district is also building a highland for intelligent manufacturing clusters, driven by both general and vertical industry AI models. By gathering AI chip developers, embodied robotics manufacturers, and multimodal AI research institutions, Yinzhou is forming a comprehensive industrial ecosystem. For instance, the Yongjiang Software Industrial Park, as a provincial-level hub, focuses on metaverse, AI, and future networks while expanding into semiconductor design, blockchain, and quantum computing.

Moreover, Yinzhou is accelerating AI adoption through real-world applications. A recent survey of the district’s top 50 enterprises revealed that over 90% are optimistic about AI, with 60% already deploying lightweight solutions like smart customer service, image recognition, and data generation. Demand for industrial quality inspection and production optimization is also rising rapidly. Examples include audio equipment makers like Soundking and Ningbo Shuaiyuan Electronic Components, which leverage AI for acoustic tuning and noise reduction, and automotive parts suppliers such as Shenglong Group and Jinghua Electronics, which are exploring AI vision for precision component inspection.

A highlight of the event was the release of the Humanoid Robotics Industry White Paper, initiated by Yinzhou-based Ningbo Yongsheng Tech Services and co-authored by Changjiang Securities and Shanghai Xuanyuan Capital. The report analyzes industry trends, market opportunities, and Ningbo’s strengths in smart manufacturing, offering valuable insights for investors and professionals.
