The number of "at home" academicians of the Ningbo Academician Center increases to 172

On March 28, the ceremony for Zheng Zhiming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to join the Ningbo Academician Center was held. As of now, the number of "at home" academicians of the Ningbo Academician Center has increased to 172, forming a "top think tank" covering multiple cutting-edge fields such as information technology, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, and so on.

Since its opening in October 2020, the Ningbo Academician Center has made great efforts to expand its "circle of friends", frequently visiting academicians in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou with numerous academicians. With emotions as the bond, it closely keeps in contact with academicians and innovatively uses forms such as "key to entry" and "academician exclusive fruit tree" and so on to promote close and direct communication with academicians.

Relying on the role of the Ningbo Academician Center as an intellectual resource, Yinzhou focuses on strategic emerging industries and accelerates the core role of the top-end intelligent innovation and industrial upgrading collaborative integration platform. It has successively introduced Academician Chen Shiyi's industrial simulation software and service platform research and development project, Academician Zhao Yufen's nutrition and health regulation plan design project based on food and medicine homologous substances, and Academician Yu Mengsun's innovative "Human System Health (Qi and Blood) Status Evaluation and Analysis System" project based on the Holographic Korotkoff Sound Vibration Information, etc., to accelerate the implementation and empowerment of academician projects in Yinzhou.

As of now, the Ningbo Academician Center has contacted more than 250 academicians and experts to lead projects, successfully facilitating the implementation of 54 cooperation projects. In addition, 40 projects have been submitted to the district and city's talent plans, and the growth rate of application and implementation has shown a significant upward trend.

The person in charge of the Ningbo Academician Center said that this year, the center will put pressure on itself to strive to gather no less than 10 new academicians for cooperation, to hold no less than 25 academic conference, to help shape a future industrial track, to realize no less than 25 key technological breakthroughs under cooperation between institutions and enterprises, and to exert every effort to build a top intellectual interaction hub and a platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, providing further support for Yinzhou's scientific and technological innovation and the development of new productive forces.
