Yinzhou Charity disburses 121 million yuan in relief funds annually, benefiting over 120,000 households and a group of public welfare units

At the Fourth Council Meeting of the Sixth Session of the Yinzhou District Charity Federation held on January 10, the annual results of charity work in the past year were announced: the total income from charity fundraising reached 140 million yuan, and various types of relief funds were distributed totaling 121 million yuan throughout the year, benefiting more than 120,000 households and a number of public welfare units. A total of 4,556 volunteer service activities with 170,000 participants were carried out throughout the year, providing services for 1.06 million person times.

Over the past year, there has been a surge of care from all sectors of the society, and the "society + individual" donation model has heated up. The 24th "Charity Day Donation" in the entire district raised a total of 4.14 million yuan in donations; the scale of enterprise endowment funds has surged, with 36 newly established or renewed totaling 200 million yuan; project fundraising has also flourished. Li Rucheng, Chairman of the Youngor Group, donated 20 million yuan in a targeted manner for the construction of the Qianhu Hospital Emergency Center renovation project. After the renovation, the total emergency area has been increased to over 2,200 square meters, comprehensively enhancing the comprehensive emergency rescue capabilities of the southeast area of Yinzhou; jointly with the Garden Center of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau, the project of "Greenness in Yinzhou; Co-planting Hope" was carried out. Taking the "Internet + Mass Voluntary Tree Planting" as the starting point, the new way of "donation and responsibility" was adopted to provide more convenience for the public to participate in voluntary tree planting. A total of 454,000 yuan was raised to complete the voluntary tree planting of more than 260,000 trees.

Gathering energy for cultural guidance, cultivating the trend of valuing goodness, and continuously creating charitable spaces, the construction of Yunlong Jiacun Village Charity Park, the Xiaying Waterfront Park, and other facilities has been completed; the "Charity Station" and the Jinghu Community in Xiaying Subdistrict have been awarded the title of "Charity Space" at the city level, and a total of 7 "Charity Spaces" have been created at the city level. Among them, the Pioneer Square of Ningbo Art Experimental School Affiliated to East China Normal University is creating a "Gratitude Corner" and a Youth Aerospace Theme Base on the basis of the original display of heroic deeds, so as to inherit the spirit of heroic models and radiate the pioneering role; to create a "good" study room in the Yinzhou District, book reading areas will be added in densely populated areas. The first batch of six sites has been established, located in commercial areas, communities, schools, "charity stations", citizen experience centers, and so on. High quality and popular books are being presented as gifts to enrich the export path of charity culture.

As the first regularly open volunteer characteristic public welfare platform in the city that integrates charity fundraising, rescue and assistance, volunteer service activities, and convenient leisure places, after more than a year of operation, the "Charity Station" has carried out nearly 100 various public welfare activities with more than a thousand volunteers participating in these activities.
