Shen Min extends condolences to workers working under high temperature

The continuous sunny and hot weather has brought great tests to outdoor front-line workers. In the morning of July 23, Shen Min, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Yinzhou District Committee, went deep into the grass-roots front line to visit and console the electric workers, water emergency repair workers, environmental sanitation workers, etc. who stuck to their posts under the high temperature. On behalf of the Yinzhou District, Shen Min extended greetings to the workers fighting in the front line under high temperature. Jiang Shiyong, Fu Jide, Wang Jiayi and Chen Hong participated in the activity.

Shen Min firstly went to the Yinzhou District Power Supply Company to learn about the work of meeting the peak consumption in summer and maintaining supply, and visited and extended condolences to the power workers. He said that now is the hottest season of the year, and it is also their hardest time of the year. At any time, they always stick to their posts and have made contributions to ensuring the safe operation of the city, the production and operation of enterprises, and the normal life of the mass public. He hoped that these workers can overcome the pressure caused by high temperature weather and increased power load, make scientific scheduling, careful operation and maintenance, and make every effort to do a good job in power security services, so as to ensure that the production and life of enterprises and people are stable and in order, and to provide stronger support for high-quality economic and social development.

At the Yinzhou Water Branch, Shen Min sent cooling and summer relief products to the representatives of pipeline emergency repair workers, and carefully asked about the operation of water supply equipment, peak water supply guarantee, pipeline emergency repair scope and emergency repair force allocation and so on. He said that the supply of water and power is the most basic guarantee of people's livelihood, which is closely related to the lives of thousands of households. He hoped that everyone should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, take care of themselves, and especially do a good job in heatstroke prevention and cooling during operations under high temperature, so as to ensure safe and high-quality water supply with fuller spirit and more efficient actions.

Entering the Songjiang Solid Waste Comprehensive Transfer Station, Shen Min visited the sanitation workers and asked them about their daily life and work. Shen Min told everyone to arrange their working hours reasonably, ensure their own safety under the high temperature, and dress up the city more beautiful. Later on, Shen Min went to the central control station to check the operation of the transfer station and other relevant conditions, hoping that the station would further improve the mechanism and make every effort to do a good job in the recycling of garbage.
