Yinzhou selected as a provincial grass-roots comprehensive health experimental zone

As is learnt from the Yinzhou District Health Bureau on September 15, Yinzhou has been selected as one of the six provincial grass-roots comprehensive health experimental counties (cities and districts).

The construction of grass-roots comprehensive health experimental zones is an important deployment made by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China to promote the construction of grass-roots medical and healthcare service system, deepen the comprehensive reform of grass-roots healthcare, and lead high-quality development of grass-roots healthcare work. Over the years, Yinzhou has won honors, including the National Demonstration Area for Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases, the National Advanced Unit of Grass-roots Traditional CHINESE Medicine, and the National Demonstration Area for Equalization of Basic Public Health Services for Floating Population, and so on. The construction of medical community was supervised and encouraged by the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government in 2020. The healthcare cause has developed vigorously.

Shui Liming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Yinzhou District Health Bureau, said that Yinzhou will build a “Yinzhou model” of basic medical and healthcare services from 7 aspects: improving the basic medical and healthcare service system, strengthening the construction of basic medical personnel teams, improving the ability of providing basic medical services, improving the level of basic public healthcare services, innovating service modes, promoting grass-roots digital reform and encouraging reform and innovation, so as to better meet the medical and healthcare needs of residents.
