The Maritime Silk Road Port Cooperation Forum 2024 held in Yinzhou

In the afternoon of June 24, as is learnt from the Press Conference of the Maritime Silk Road Port Cooperation Forum 2024 that the Maritime Silk Road Port Cooperation Forum 2024 will be held from June 26 to June 28 at the Ningbo International Conference Center, with an expected attendance of over 1,600 guests from nearly 40 countries and regions. 

The theme of this forum is "Improving the Level of Port and Shipping Services - Jointly Building an Open and Inclusive 'Belt and Road' Important Port and Shipping Hub". It focuses on three major directions, namely "building a new pattern of global opening-up", "comprehensively promoting a new leap forward in the resilience of the port and shipping industry", and "comprehensively enhancing the new functions of the port and shipping hub nodes". It adopts the form of "1+1+4+N", i.e., an opening ceremony and main forum, a high-level round-table meeting, four thematic forums, and numerous interactive activities, not only focusing on high-level and comprehensive topics such as economic and trade policies, macro strategies, industrial trends, but also covering professional hot topics in business, green development, intelligence, culture, finance, laws, and so on, forming an all-round and multi-level pattern to fully reflect the opening-up and integration trend of the port and shipping industry. 

This forum focuses on the upgraded logo and has comprehensively designed and packaged the venue. The forum mascot HI SEA takes its debut, creating a deep immersive, real-time interactive, and meticulous communication and exchange space for attendees. At the same time, the forum also invites important guests, experts and scholars from the domestic and foreign port and shipping industry to jointly discuss new trends in port and shipping industry. 

In addition, this forum is expected to release a joint statement at the High-level Round-table Meeting on Maritime Silk Road Port and Shipping to form an "international friendly port cooperation mechanism", and the "Blue Book for the Development of the Ningbo Zhoushan International Shipping Center" as well as multiple industrial research reports. At the same time, it is to promote participating units to sign a series of project cooperation agreements. 

In order to showcase the charm of the port and shipping industry, the forum will also present from multiple perspectives such as exhibitions and displays, and set up exhibition booths for relevant business cooperation and supporting enterprises, so as to build a window to showcase the global port and shipping industry and the unique charm of enterprises in the Zhejiang Province.
