On April 16, reporters learnt from the Yinzhou District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Film, Tourism and Sports that the three-year action plan for building a district of Yinzhou strong in sports had been officially released. By 2026, the total scale of the sports industry will strive to exceed 20 billion yuan and cultivate two national sports industrial demonstration bases; finish building more than 350 embedded sports new spaces, with an average sports venue area of 3.2 square meters per capita; hold more than 500 national fitness events annually, and develop a "4 plus X" brand event matrix with sports such as tennis, sailing, aerospace models, and esports as leading events. Through the construction of a district strong in sports, the comprehensive strength and influence of sports can be comprehensively improved.

In the next three years, Yinzhou will implement the action of doubling the sports industry, actively attract leading enterprises in the sports industry and advantageous enterprises in specific fields, build a number of influential ecological sports tourism boutique routes, plan and implement sports consumption activities for the benefit of the people. By 2026, a basic development dynamic of "one heart, two wings, three zones, and one network" for the sports industry will be developed; brand sports event actions will be implemented, hosting the WTA250 Ningbo Open, creating a "4 plus X" brand event matrix, and continuously polishing the new business card of urban sports; the action plan for national fitness for the benefit of the people will be carried out, renovating and upgrading the Yinzhou Sports Center and the Yinzhou National Fitness Center, implementing digital transformation of sports venue facilities, promoting the resolution of shortcomings and difficulties related to insufficient number of public sports facilities, creating "one town (subdistrict), one brand" characteristic events, and strengthening the development of organizations providing sports social services; talent reserve cultivation action will be implemented to cultivate and promote the new model of "one school, one brand" campus sports, scientifically layout the cultivation of competitive reserve talents, implement high-level sports talent introduction and training programs, and continuously strengthen talent cultivation efforts.
