Shen Min inspects preparations for the Ningbo Tennis Open 2023

In the morning of September 8, Shen Min, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Yinzhou District Committee, visited the Yinzhou Tennis Center to inspect preparations that had been done for the Ningbo Tennis Open 2023. He emphasized the need to conscientiously implement the requirements of the provincial and municipal deployment, strengthen proactive awareness, keep in mind safety assurance, do a good job in all preparation work with high standards and strict requirements, strive for excellence to ensure the safe and orderly running of the event, and spare no effort to deliver outstanding results. Zhang Shangbing participated in the activity. 

The Ningbo Tennis Open 2023 will be held from September 23 to September 30, marking the WTA Tour's return to China after four years and the first time a high-level international professional women's tennis tournament settling in Ningbo. At the Yinzhou Tennis Center, the central stadium, supporting buildings, and player service center have been renovated according to the WTA competition standards. Shen Min inspected the venue layout onsite, communicated with the working staff in detail, and understood the situation of venue improvement, competition schedule setting, event operation, safety assurance, and other related aspects. He affirmed the effectiveness of various preparations for the event, and proposed working requirements for specific details and issues. 

Shen Min emphasized that the current preparations for the event has reached a critical period, and all relevant units need to improve their positioning and take on a sense of responsibility. Based on the overall planning and layout, they should carefully organize and arrange, systematically carry out project construction, event organization, transportation planning, and facility support, strive for excellence on every aspect, and exquisitely craft and polish every detail to ensure sufficient preparations and efficient operation of the event. It's required to maintain a clear mind, better coordinate development and security, remain vigilant and never slacken our efforts, combine the preparations of the event with ensuring the preparations for the Asian Games, and normalize security measures, further strengthen crisis-thinking, adhere to problem-solving, and identify and make up for weaknesses, so as to ensure the safety, orderliness, and success of the event.
