As is learnt from the Yinzhou District Natural Resources and Planning Bureau on January, the adjustment plan of permanent basic farmland layout for comprehensive land improvement and ecological restoration in Yinzhou District has been approved by the Department of Natural Resources of Zhejiang Province, which would further promote comprehensive land improvement and ecological restoration across the region.
As we can see from the approved adjustment plan, Yinzhou District has become the district with the largest number of approved projects, the largest total area for the projects and the largest area of adjusted basic farmland in Ningbo. The approved project will be developed in the Dongwu Town, Yunlong Town and Wuxiang Town, covering a total area of 8,370.9 hectares, including 2,289.5 hectares of arable land and 29.2 hectares of adjusted area.
For the next step, the Yinzhou District Natural Resources and Planning Bureau is to include the approved adjustment plan in the implementation plan of the comprehensive land improvement and ecological restoration project in the whole district, compiling the village planning in accordance with the principle of “multi-compliance”, fully promoting the construction of high standard farmland, land reclamation, low efficient land utilization renovation, abandoned mine renovation and comprehensive development, improving the layout of the rural ecology, life and production, and carrying out comprehensive renovation of all factors, including “land, water, forest, roads and villages”.
Being the first pilot village for the demonstration of comprehensive land improvement and ecological restoration in Yinzhou, the Pingdingqiao Village of Jiangshan Town has completed the planned task of 2019 in advance for comprehensive land renovation. This year, Yinzhou District is to carry out full comprehensive land renovation and ecological restoration in Jiangshan Town, Xiaying Sub-district and Shounan Sub-district.
